ANC win coveted sustainability award in Australia

Rich Smith

CEO Joe Sofra and ANC’s Project Spark have won the Sustainability Project of the Year Award at The Faculty Awards of Excellence held on Tuesday 3rd September in Melbourne, Australia.

There were a record number of entries in the Sustainability category this year and the list of finalists were of the highest calibre - IAG, Telstra, Coca Cola EuroPacific Partners, Department of Education SA, and Social Traders & Mirvac.

In the words of The Faculty: “The Sustainability Project of the Year is given to an organisation that has made a remarkable and measurable impact on the world or local community by improving procurement and supply chain sustainability outcomes”.

For ANC this further reinforces the importance of Project Spark - their fleet electrification program - and the leadership role ANC is playing in making last mile delivery more sustainable in Australia.

Next Steps…

Actions speak louder than words when it comes to sustainability, and over the next two years, ANC will spearhead the deployment and operation of 112 electric vehicles and charging stations across Australia, making significant progress towards our goal of electrifying 30% of our last mile delivery fleet by 2028, directly impacting people, the planet and communities.

This effort supports Australia’s emissions reduction targets and showcases how private enterprises, like ANC, can drive climate resilience.
